DESCRIPTION:Profile: \nThe Centre for Accounting Studies (CAS) is a leading training and capacity building institution in Lesotho established in 1979 as an Irish Aid Development Project.  In 2000 the Centre was taken over by the Government of Lesotho and has since operated  as a national centre of excellence in accountancy\, financial management and related business skills.  CAS combines academic and professional education with practical\, demand driven training and consulting services to strengthen financial systems across the public and private sectors. \n  \nCAS exists to develop skilled\, ethical and commercially aware finance professionals and to support institutional and business capacity building in Lesotho\, through high quality education\, practical training and targeted consultancies. \n  \nCAS staff are highly qualified (Chartered Accountants\, Governance Specialists\, MBAs\, Legal Specialists\, HR Specialists\, Economists etc) and experienced in both long-term\, short-term training and consultancies. The institution also draws on external industry expertise to complement its in-house knowledge base for specialised trainings\, ensuring high-quality delivery at all times.
