JOB OPPORTUNITIES AT CAS
Centre for Accounting Studies (CAS) is the leading Professional Accounting education and training provider (for both Public and Private Sector) in Lesotho. CAS is looking for energetic, committed and passionate Lecturer and two Junior Lecturers to lecture at least two modules as categorised below;
Lecturer
A lecturer who is able to teach at least two modules from the modules below:
- Performance Management
- Financial Management
- Audit
- Taxation
Minimum Qualifications, experience and desirable attributes
- Honours Degree in the fields mentioned above plus ACCA/CIMA/CA or any other professional qualification recognised by International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and Lesotho Institute of Accountants (LIA) coupled with 5 years teaching experience in a tertiary institution or 7 years professional experience.
- Master’s Degree in the fields mentioned above plus ACCA/CIMA/CA or any other professional qualification recognised by IFAC/LIA coupled with 3 years teaching experience in a tertiary institution and 5 years professional experience.
- Self-driven, proactive, innovative, solution oriented and digitally savvy.
- Must be prepared to work beyond working hours and/or weekends if necessary.
Junior Lecturer 2 * 2
The Junior Lecturer 2 should be able to teach on the following programmes: ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA.
Junior lecturer 2 who is able to teach at least two modules from the modules below:
- Management Accounting
- Foundations in Audit
- Foundations in Taxation
Minimum Qualifications, experience and desirable attributes
- Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management plus ACCA/CIMA/CA or any other professional qualification recognised by IFAC/LIA coupled with two (2) years teaching experience in a tertiary institution or three (3) years professional experience or
- Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration plus ACCA/CIMA/CA professional qualification recognised by IFAC/LIA coupled with one (1) year teaching experience in a tertiary institution and two (2) years professional experience (would be an added advantage).
- Self-driven, proactive, innovative, solution oriented and digitally savvy.
- Must be prepared to work beyond working hours and/or weekends if necessary.
